Washing Machines, Really?
I thought about making this blog really cute and girly. I thought about making this blog very silly and reflective of my personality. I thought about making it really hyper-spiritual.
Then it hit me.
I need to be practical. It's in the title, is it not?
So I wanted to make my blog simple, practical, and exactly what you need spiritually.
So yes, I put laundry machines on the first page. Because they're practical.
Is it practical to have 3? No. But is it practical for many to go to a laundromat rather than buying their own washer & dryer?
Absolutely.
Plus, the orange and green were really drawing me. I thought about other construction-related things that were practical, but the washing machines stuck out.
They're a little odd. Peculiar.
And on a practical blog written to peculiar people, it was perfect.
